Parent Coordinator

Dear, P.S. 272 Families,

My name is Ms. Mishel Lopez, I am the Parent Coordinator here at PS 272. I am so honored and proud for the role I have in your family’s success here at The Curtis Estabrook School, P.S. 272. It is indeed a privilege for me to support, encourage, and develop positive relationships between families, our school and our community!

Here at P.S. 272, we strongly encourage the involvement of our parents/guardians.

We realize that you are our most valued stakeholders!

I am also a parent of our school; so, it is understandable how we as parents would be nervous for our children as they enter into new endeavors such as Elementary School, nevertheless as your Parent Coordinator I will be there to walk you through whatever concerns, apprehensions or questions you might have. I promise that if I can’t find an answer to your questions, I will find you someone who can.

As your Parent Coordinator, I support the vision and the goals that Principal Taylor has for our students and their families. One of our first goals this year is to increase the parent involvement to 50% and engage parents, teachers, students, and the community in the learning process by providing the resources needed to help our students achieve their academic potential.
